Check in Info
- Check-in: from 2pm but no later than 9pm.
- Check-out: 10am – late check out fees will apply.
- R1000 refunadable damage deposit is required.
- Please note that Gugu will be available for meet and greet during standard working hours, therefore after 4pm is self check-in.
Important to Note
- Children are to be supervised at all times by the swimming pool.
- Caution to be taken when using the fire-pit. No hot logs to be placed on the decking and the fire-pit must be completely extinguished when no longer in use, unsupervised or before retiring or leaving the premises.
- Gas to be closed after use.
- No electrical appliances including air-conditioning, oven and stove and kettle to be used during loadshedding, except Fridge, TV and plugs for charging mobile devices.
Cancellation Policy
- Forfeit 100% of total amount if guest cancels 7 days before arrival.
- Forfeit 100% of deposit if guest cancels 14 days before arrival.
- Forfeit 100% of deposit if guest cancels 21 days before arrival.
- Forfeit 50% of deposit if guest cancels 30 days before arrival.
Electricity Usage
Please use water and electricity sparingly due to load-shedding. The invertor will automatically kick in for Fridge, TV, lights and numerous plug points. Please reset stove once load-shedding is complete.
- During load-shedding there is no water, the JO-JO tanks can be activated at this time.
- It is strongly recommended not to drink the tap water.
- We recommend packing insect repellent and sunblock.
Regulations of Kuleni Game Park
- The speed limit within Kuleni Game Park is 20km/hr.
- DO NOT FEED any animals. Please remember that the animals are wild therefore unpredictable. Keep a fair walking distance from them at all times.
- Feel free to walk through the park and walking trails but please take not of the “NO ENTRY” signs and do not enter any other lodges as there may be guests present.
- Please stay on the roads when driving a car. Do not drive through any parks or deviate from the road at any time. Should you wish to park and walk, please park your car slightly off the road so that it does not disrupt any other traffic.
- Grasslands property (refer to map for directions) is a driving free zone. Animals are often found there so please feel free to walk on this property.
- Please be considerate of other guests and keep noise to a reasonable level.
- This is a conservation area and as such please be considerate with both drinking and tap water.
- Please be aware of dung beetles that are often found on the road and please avoid them wherever possible.
- Fee free to cycle within the park, keeping to the roads and walking trails at all times.
- We have warthog which roam the property, do not be alarmed if they are under the units however take caution.
- Please be careful around the swimming pools. NB: the decks are slippery when wet.
- Should you encounter any injured or dead animals please be sure to report it to management as soon as possible.
- Please note that there is 24hr security that patrols the property.
- The gate will be locked between the hours of 22h30 and 05h00. Should you need to travel between those hours, kindly let us know so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.
- We have regular power failures in this area.
- Avoid walking around the property after dark. Should there be a problem at the lodge please contact the lodge owner or for emergencies the park manager.
